About MusicToMP3Converter
A free music converter that does one thing properly: turn the music you already listen to into files you can keep, at the quality you actually asked for.
What We Do
MusicToMP3Converter turns Spotify and YouTube Music links into downloadable audio files. Paste a track link and pick your format — MP3, FLAC, WAV, or AAC — and the file lands in your downloads folder seconds later, complete with title, artist, album, cover art, and track number already embedded.
It works on whole collections too. The playlist downloader and album downloader process every track in one go and hand you a single ZIP, numbered in the original order. And if you already have audio sitting on your drive, our file converters handle format-to-format conversion without uploading anything to a third party.
Why We Built It
Most free converters share the same three problems: they cap you at 128kbps, they bury the download button under redirects and pop-ups, or they demand an account before giving you anything. The quality ceiling is the one that bothered us most — 128kbps is a noticeable step down, and charging for the bitrate that should be standard felt backwards.
So 320kbps is free here. So is lossless FLAC and WAV. There is no account to create, no watermark on the output, and no cap on how many tracks you convert. If you want to understand what those numbers actually mean for your ears, our audio quality guide walks through the differences honestly — including the cases where a higher bitrate genuinely will not help you.
Being Straight About Quality
A converter cannot create detail that was never in the source. Streaming platforms deliver compressed, lossy audio, so converting a stream to FLAC gives you a lossless container — it preserves exactly what arrived, but it does not upgrade it into studio quality. We say so on every page where it matters, because the alternative is selling people a promise the format cannot keep.
Where a conversion genuinely is lossless — FLAC to ALAC, FLAC to AIFF, WAV to FLAC — we say that too, and it is exact, bit for bit. Our guide to lossless audio covers where the line actually falls.
Formats We Support
Beyond the four main output formats, we maintain dedicated converters for the formats people actually run into — ALAC, AIFF, OGG, M4A, MP4, WMA, Opus, AMR, and more, in both directions. Each format has a hub page collecting every converter for it:
- MP3 converter — the universal format, plays on everything
- FLAC converter — lossless, compressed, open
- WAV converter — uncompressed, ideal for editing
- AAC converter — small files, native on Apple devices
Your Files and Your Privacy
Conversions are processed and streamed straight back to you, then deleted from the server. We do not keep a copy of your audio, and there is no account tied to your activity because there are no accounts. Full detail lives in our privacy policy.
Responsible Use
This service is built for personal use with music you have the right to download — your own recordings, public-domain and Creative Commons material, promotional tracks, and content you have permission to save. Copyright rules differ from country to country, and we would rather you know that than find out later. We take infringement claims seriously; see our DMCA policy for how to file one, and our guide to the legal side for a plain-language overview.
Guides, in Seven Languages
Alongside the tools we publish step-by-step guides on formats, bitrates, and getting the best result from a conversion — available in English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Polish, and Turkish. Browse them all in our guides section.
